Mighty Strut 5x5 Shoring Head

The Mighty Strut 5x5 Shoring Head is an optional system accessory designed to expand the capabilities of the Mighty Strut for light shoring applications. It allows users to support beams, small structures, or perform light trench shoring using standard lumber.

Offered as a single accessory component, the 5x5 Shoring Head is purchased separately from the Mighty Strut System and is ideal for departments looking to add shoring capability without carrying dedicated shoring struts.

Designed for Light Shoring Applications

The 5x5 Shoring Head provides a stable interface between the Mighty Strut and common shoring materials. It is well suited for supporting beams, strongbacks, and light structural elements during stabilization operations.

Aggressive Pad with Positive Attachment

A welded 3/8in. thick steel pad forms the contact surface of the shoring head. The pad features machined cleats designed to resist slip against wood substrates, helping maintain positioning once load is applied.

Nail-Through Attachment Points

Four integrated holes are sized to accept 16 penny nails, allowing the shoring head to be secured directly to strongbacks or shoring lumber for added stability during use.

Articulating Interface

The shoring head is designed to rotate up to 30° to either side of center, allowing it to accommodate slight misalignment between the strut and the supported surface.

Purpose-Built for the Mighty Strut System

A machined aluminum adapter allows the shoring head to slip-fit directly into the top of the Mighty Strut or into Mighty Strut Extension Poles, creating a clean and integrated interface.

Construction and Finish

The shoring head is constructed from a combination of welded steel and machined aluminum components. The aluminum adapter is finished with a clear anodize for durability and corrosion resistance.

This product includes one 5x5 Shoring Head only. Mighty Strut, extension poles, and shoring lumber are not included.
