Mighty Strut Hook

The Mighty Strut Hook is part of a patented side-lift attachment system designed to provide an alternate lifting point when using the Mighty Strut System. It allows crews to apply controlled lift from the side of the strut, expanding capability during complex stabilization and extrication scenarios.

Offered as a single replacement or spare component, the Standard Hook is ideal for replacing lost, damaged, or stolen hooks, or for departments that want to carry additional lifting options to support varied vehicle geometries.

Purpose-Built for Side Lifting

The Standard Hook slides into the adjustable collar located on the side of the Mighty Strut, allowing crews to lift from locations not accessible from the top of the strut. This capability is especially useful when raising vehicles to relieve pressure on trapped bodies or limbs.

Two Lift Interfaces in One Tool

The Standard Hook provides two reliable engagement options. A flat pad can be used on flat surfaces, while the J-hook profile allows the hook to capture tubular suspension, chassis, or structural components when a flat contact point is not available.

Compact and Easy to Stow

Measuring approximately 8.5 inches in length, the Standard Hook is compact enough to store easily in a Mighty Strut bag while remaining robust enough for repeated field use.

Construction and Finish

The Standard Hook is manufactured from heat-treated steel for strength and durability. It features a clear anodized finish with a rubber-dipped surface to help improve grip during use.

Important Safety Note

Ensure the Standard Hook is fully seated in the collar before applying load. Load must be fully captured within the radius of the hook and must not contact the end of the hook. Loading from the end of the hook may result in deformation.

This product includes one Standard Hook only. Mighty Strut, extension poles, and other system components are not included.
